    Advice on front brake setup

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
What I am trying to accomplish, is to replace my front brake setup with something that is at least comparable to stock and will give me better clearance for my wheels. At the moment I would need to run a 20 mm spacer just to clear the HP2 calipers. I do not want to do this.

So I am trying to find some info on any other brake swaps if any that will give me more clearance. For example will B6/B7 S4 calipers/rotors swap in? The calipers look more flat compared to the HP2. I've found one post that says they do fit. D2 S8 calipers/rotors? A6 calipers/rotors?

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

That seems like it's going to be a lot of work and money just to make wheels fit. What kind are they? Why not just buy ones that clear if you're not upgrading the brakes anyway?

Re: Advice on front brake setup

Well, I'm kinda particular about my wheel setup. They are the 18x9 Enkie RPF1's. I know the 18x8 version will fit just fine, but the spoke design is a bit different. If I can't find a brake solution that will work by spring, then I'll just get a pair of the 18x8's and run a staggered setup. No biggie. I know that would be the easiest thing to do, but I would prefer not to if I dont' have to.
