hey guys whats this hose thing connected to the airbox?

It runs up into the fender, not sure what it is for. It can't be for the SAI pump because I don't have one being a 2000. second guess would be for cold engine warm up maybe??

I think it has something to do with the noise filtration in the air box. It doesn't have anything to do with warming up the car and doesn't go anywhere in the fender. By the way, secondary air pumps are only on tips, regardless of year.

Edit: It's a secondary intake, probably a safety feature in case the main intake get's blocked.
