just wondering if there are any write-ups on it, or any links, or have any of you guys changed it, and whats the process, and how hard is it. My traction control light keeps coming on all the time, the dealer told me its a common problem.
    thanks

Re: Changing the brake pedal switch

    Try readjusting it first.

The procedure, first disconnect the wiring connector, then twist the switch counter clockwise, and remove from the peddle bracket. Next, pull the switch rod out of the switch housing as far as possible. Now press the brake peddle down an inch or two and reinstall the switch in the peddle bracket, and slowly release the brake peddle. Make sure the peddle fully returns to the upper stop, and reconnect the wiring connector. Test, Done.

The only thing to remove first is the cover under the dash, above the peddles. Then, the switch is accessible.

yup, just like they said above, very easy. takes about 10-15 minutes, no sweat. i had to replace mine because the brake light would stay on all night, it killed my battery and had to replace it for $250! should have just STF and replaced the switch for $9 in the first place
