Remove your "accordion" hose and you can access your passenger side one relatively easy. Remove your coolant reservoir tank to get at the driver side. To get the driver side 02 out I used a bunch of extensions and got access to it from the passenger side of the engine bay. Just reached across and behind the motor with the extensions. Both are relatively easy to get out with an 02 wrench (17mm). GL!

Seriously worked so Good!!! I started right behind the y-pipe and had a buddy guide the lambada wrench...was super easy to get at, just had to navigate through the jungle of hoses.

Ross, follow the DIY for Piggies. It explains in there how to get the front O2 sensors off. Go to autozone and rent their O2 kit or even better, get a crows foot (it will solve all ur problems).

Oh, and GL w/ that driver's side o2, its a bitch! PM or call me if you need any help

yea, w/ our 2000's, our bearings need to be pressed in, so you would need a press to do them, and they are also a bitch to do!

like stated above, just make sure you have a lot of extensions. Once you find them, its just a matter of getting the 02 socket on them, breaking them loose and then you can use your hands to screw them the rest of the way out.

Use the begging part of this Piggie write up:
    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ltimate+piggie

I'm partial to it because I wrote it

You wont need all the points obviously but it helps to show how to take 02's off

    pictures always help

Tis the season for wheel bearings indeed. mines hummmmmmming pretty good.

This will be my 4th rear wheel bearing. (1 on old A4, 1 on Buddies S4, 1 on my right rear bearing, and now the left rear bearing)

I can do it in my sleep now. its not that hard to do. There is a nice write up on it I think on audiworld.

I usually take the wheel assembly off, then take to auto shop that has a press, have them press old one out, then new one in. and reassemble.
