what's FRRG anyways?

This isn't about a cruise...I always post the cruises publicly. And the reason we don't give out all the information up front is for peoples own protection. If I post up our entire drive route just so people can meet up with us along the way, we don't know who'll end up waiting for us around one of the turns. It's better to state a meeting point, time, and general area for driving than post all the info for every one (including cops) to see. Our So-Cal Ring made that mistake last time and had CHP helicopters and cars pacing them the whole time...now does that sound like fun to you. No trying to be "secretive" or keep info away from you, we WANT you guys to come out an join, the more the merrier on our drives. I sent out multiple PMs about our last drive giving more info. So, don't rag on us for not putting ALL the info out there, it's for our drivers own safety and fun

As for what FRRG is, we are a group of enthusiasts who believe the greatest joy in these cars is DRVING them. We didn't buy the cars to sit around in a parking lot all the time and chat, we want to use them to their full potential. We welcome EVERYONE to come out and join us and have close to 30 memebers currently. So, if your interested, come out to our next cruise (i will post the details when that time comes) and drive with us. We're fun guys and want everyone to be involved, but we don't want it to be a free-for-all with drivers who aren't safe. This is why we are more private.

I'm sorry if it bothers you that I don't put up more info, but that's the way we have and will work it. if you don't like it, then don't come...but you'll be missing out on some great drives and events. Hope to see you all out there soon

i just read about FRRG on AW before I came back to this thread, so now i'm pretty much in the loop.

I'm all for safe driving, so whatever you think helps keeps all the drivers involved safe, then it's all good. Happy Safe Driving!

But it is true I made the mistake of posting the exact location for meeting up, but not the exact route! Somehow police choppers found their way over our route...note taken. Nuff said....S4DTM=right
