    New rims. Opinions?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I just got a these rims today and so far im not sure if I like them yet. They are 19" ADR and came w/ centering rings and Audi center caps. I will be dropping it on a set of Vogtland springs soon but I am now worried that rims are going to rub.. The rims are 19x8.5 et35 and the tires are 235/35/19

I like them also, would have been better if they were 18's. They most likely will rub, i dont know if rolling your fenders would help. So your putting Vogtland springs on oem non-sport shocks? If you are, I know neuspeed race springs on non-sport shocks would rub, i dont know much about vogtlands.

i had 19s and i was lowered 24" ground to fender with no rubbing. i highly doubt you will rub with stock suspension.

    Re: New rims. Opinions?

not to jack, but im sorta in same boat. i might be getting 19 b7 rs4 reps. same tires dimensions, and MAYBE 235/35/19 cuz i need extra tire with chicago streets. im on sport stock suspension and was wondering what setup to do with suspension? any suggestions? roll vs pull fenders? or both? uhhh no money for c/o set right now... just springs?

oh, race vs sport? cuz im sport stock, but idk if race will drop me too low with 19's

From the way these fit I think you will be fine w/ rolled fenders but you may want to stretch the tire and get at least a 225 instead of 235. I have the same size as the tires you were looking at on them right now. Its all gonna come down to the off set though idk what the reps have.

yeah, i dont think they look too big to tell you the truth, i always though 19's would just look too big, but those actually look like 18's for some reason, i know you know what they are, but they look fine IMO

i have 19x8.5 et35 rims. 235/35/19 and on neuspeed RACE/Bilstein sports, rolled only front fenders and removed a LITTLE material from the inner liner and do not rub after that. and i think 19's look great on the B5.........

    I quite like those wheels.

The design actually makes them look smaller that 19's, so they suit the B5 fine.

they look nice, even better with a drop. 19's are pushing it but the b5 can pull em off. I have vogtland sports on my 97 2.8 and it hasnt dropped much less then stock sport susp. But im hoping its going to settle more..
