    hey guys my car seems to have some play in it while im cruising.. im thinkin control arms, and i was planning on replaceing them after the winter time.. the car has 91,500 miles now so id imagine shes about due for some tighter steering components.. you guys agree with me? and where do you reccommend i get the new arms from?

    Might want to pull the battery and make sure the steering rack isn't loose. Kind of a common thing too.

    id suggest making sure yourtie rod ends arent shot yet too..they had to be replaced on mine twice =[
    the mods..GIAC ECU chip, GIAC TIP chip, rear lip spoiler,mirror covers, H&R coilovers, Cold air intake, fog light grills painted to match and centers black, Debadged,19" EXE rims w/ falken tires, 2 10" polk subs in custom box,vinyled window trim, dynomat, painted calipers,custom cat back exhaust, cupra r splitter, window tint.....Full Widebody-installed ..soon to come tinted tails, maybe tinted headlights..Oh SO FRRESHHH

    Agree with Hoffy

    Sounds more like tie rods. Put the car up and wiggle the wheel you should be able to tell if its the TR.

    sweet!! thanks ill deffinatley check them out.. what do i have to worry about when i take my battery out? is there going to be a code or anything i will need after i reinstall it?

    that kit from purems isnt too bad 500 bucs for the complete kit.. i was expecting way more than that!!.. but those along with my coil packs and spark plugs will be my priority after winter.. btw how long do these coil packs n plugs usually last?

    Im still waiting for mine. One of my contrll arms is shot so i NEED to replace them.

    All of my upper control arms are going. The rubber is missing chunks in each. I need to change mine, but its freezing outside....even though it was a freak 50 degrees today.

    ok there installed now and the installation is just like normal arms but adjustment as another story. first off the adjusters are standard not metric, 11/16 and 15/16 if i remember correctly. one thing i recommend using antisize on the adjuster threads. another thing is you need a 1 1/16th wrench to hold the outer most piece with the ball joint on it when locking the jam nuts. but other than that there great, i mean you can adjust camber AND caster on the front wheels!!!!
