    who has taken apart xenon lights before?

    im trying to take out my xenon projectors, have the ballasts and the little bolts off. but there is this stupid metal retaining clip at the bottem which i cant figure out for my life. anyone know the trick? i tryed cutting it but no dice, the things solid.

    dude i couldnt get it out either, i struggled for a good hour so i left. i was doing the clear corner mod at the time so instead i just turnedmy adjusters all the way in and slid the orange reflector underneath, it was pretty easy. had to break one of um with some needle nose pliers but no biggy. good luck

    so you can swap the projector lense/housing from a xenon light into a halogen headlight to make it xenon and work properly, i.e. correct lighting characteristics?

    You need to use a pair of needle nose plyers, and grab one side of the clip and move it toward the other side, (see diagram.) and twist the clip sideways to disengage the end of the clip from the hole.

    The swap is legit, works fine. Just be sure the projectors are spaced in the mounting using the short semiclear plastic tubing spacers, they can fall out easily.

    ok got the clip out, now the issue is getting past the adjustment knob.
