finally did the clear corner mod tonight

Pretty simple, highly recommended, dont be afraid...looks great even tho I kept the stock amber bulb in there. Most time consuming part is actually cleaning the thing out.

PS, my drivers side housing is pretty cloudy, I have tried wet sanding (300-600-900-1500-2000) then using some Plastix. Didnt help much. Thought it may be on the inside, but its not. Any other tips to make it look new again?

sorry for crummy blackberry pics...only camera i have
    anyway, before...

    and after...

    and the cloudy one...

Looks good, now you need to get some stealth bulbs to get rid of the amber ones.

Sylvania makes bulbs that are silver during the day and amber during the night

Heres a pic of mine. Ignore the unfinished bumper (which is turning out to look sweet with the body work im doing to it)

To deal with the cloudiness, use a medium to heavy cutting compound. Meguires beige bottles. Wet sand first with 1000 grit until the whole siurface is smooth and even (it'll look extremely hazy at this point. Then use the cutter (think I used the number 6 cutter) with a 3" polishing tool\adj speed drill. Should look as new when done. Good luck

I used Mequires Aluminum polish with a micro fiber cloth on my other car and got great results. It was night and day, I would suggest you try it on a very small area first before applying it all over. My lights were opaque from 11 years of neglect, after the Mequires it looked good as new! Finish it off with a couple of coats of wax for protection, I don't have before and after pics unfortunately . . .
