    A4 Braking Problem

    got a quick question. Whenever I drive my car and brake the rev needle goes down and revs up a little before it goes back down as i come to a complete stop. Could this problem be caused by a brake booster leak or a vacuum leak

    Quick guess - probably your ICV (Idle Control Valve) is clogged. If you do a search you should find some how to info on how to clean it, though I think its pretty well hidden

    As the needle gets down to 1 rpm it jumps up to 2 and sometimes higher than it goes down
