    Erratic idle, need help

Alright, doing this for a buddy who just got his car chipped (Revo) and tossed in a Forge Dv. He is now experiencing an erratic idle. It jumps up and down and although it's not all the time it's happening. Oh, car also threw check engine light and the code was for ? . I can't remember.

He is coming over tomorrow so I can read the code which was cleared and came back.

Does anyone have any insight in the meantime? I searched and came up with nothing. I will be sure to post the problem once I find out.

Is the car just learning the new program? It ran fince the first few days after the work was done. do you guys think that he could have shot out an 02 sensor?

I doubt the tune is to blame for this problem, its more likely related to the forge valve, there have been several threads where people have had problems with this part. most of the time it is due to the installation of the valve not due to a faulty valve.

The idle could also be affected by a faulty PCV.
