Well, I guess I should take part of that back because it probably makes me look like an ass. This was my first GTG, so I think I was expecting too much. The flyers and posts hyped it up with food, prizes, raffles, etc., so I guess I was imagining this carnival-like atmosphere. You know - pony rides n' shit!

It just seemed more like a bunch of cars happened to park in the same field. And that's cool, but I was just expecting a little more structure or something. Apparently they did raffle some stuff off and have food, but I must have left by that point (3:00-ish).

And Anthony - I wore my new AudiZine shirt with pride once it warmed up.

Yea it was lame, usually much better put together. Michel, the guy running it, ran into some problems this morning and didnt arrive until noon to organize or get anything setup. Shit happens, theres always more meets, and plenty that are killer around the area!

Its just 10an steel braided line, not cheap FYI. Depending where you get it, expect 8-10 bucks a foot

Gotta do what ya gotta do. The first place with the sand (no rocks) was extremely muddy, just poured yesterday or I would have had the car 6" from the water lol. There were 5 or 6 big trucks there with people fishing and all of them were staring at me laughing as I was trying to dodge the 1ft deep holes and 4x4 mudding marks I looked at one of them and said "What, this is the perfect offroading vehicle"
