i drove my car up north and back home about an 2 1/2 hour drive each way and the day i came back i floored it geeting on to the highway and iffeels like my car is hitting a fuel cut at 5,000 rpm's and i was able to rev out to 7,000 rpms and it has been doing it for the last two days. any ideas?

    could resetting the ecu work?

could if be the gulf gas i bought?

could it be bad coil packs at high rpms?

    please help

Fuel filter or pump? All I know is that I wouldn't drive it hard until you fix it. If it's running lean you'll kill it, but you know that.

Have you checked your spark plugs? Are you still boosting at higher RPMs?

Re: problem BAT guys please help

If you're still boosting I'd check the spark plugs. If they're fine then I'd look at coil packs next. Maybe log for misfires.

Re: problem BAT guys please help

^ deff something with the throttle closing becuase i cant be maxxing out the bosch 040 fuel pump and i just put it in about five months ago so i cant be clogged yet and the new pick up screen has a huge surface area which would be olmost impossible to cloge up. i think it is the ecu telling the throttle to close but i need to find out why it is doing that becuase i have changed nothing on the car that it should be acting up and the injectors are 630cc which i put in at the sametime as the fuel pump.

it sounds like you're narrowing this down...

but for the love of god, get a wideband gauge. you need to know on a moment's notice if you're running leaner than you should. mine ran like ass the other day when temps went from a steady two weeks of high 30's/low 20's to high 60's/low 50's... i ran lean as hell for a day or so and had to stay off the gas until the temps evened back out and the ECU got back in the swing of things. i'd have never known and could have destroyed something if not for that gauge

    +2 on the wideband gauge.

Running a BAT setup without one is just risky even if your tune is dialled in.
