got questions about brakes and cats.

I did the brakes and my 3.o and i found out that im missing a clip on the driver front. i believe its the one on the outside and i dont know really what its called. Can someone give me a part number and or where i can find it? im assuming its an Audi Part only and i have to go to stealership. Also i had my codes read, to see why the CEL was on..... Need BOTH CATS replaced. Where can i get a good price on these?? And of course its time to get my emissions done, so i hope i can make it till monday when im going to try to get it through and pray it will pass, i cleared the codes and am going to pray. Any Ideas on how i can get out Cheap????

if you have less than 80,000mi they're free

right, plus don't clear your codes if you get them again. the dealer needs to see them in order to replace them within the 80k miles.

Still call your dealer, maybe they extended their "warranty" on cats.
Im in the same boat right now, gotta pass emission soon, but got this CEL for running lean and my mechanic cant figure out whats goin on. Let us know if u pass your test after clearing the codes.
