So I guess as long as an OE manufacturer makes the part its not 'aftermarket' huh?

I guess my garrett turbo and Bosch 044 pump are OEM also huh? *lol*

    Re: Next week's testing

He is stating that he hasn't added any parts to his returnless fuel system other then what he already has in the car which is just a bosch fuel pump upgrade and injectors. Not all that hard to figure out seeing that a bunch of B6 owners feel that they need to do a B5 fuel system setup.

My interpretation of OEM is that if the part is in ETKA, it is not aftermarket. I can say OEM++ if you would like.

only problem is that 71r turbo and 1.8 liter isnt gonna be able to make enough power comparable to say my car to see if the stock fuel system is a limitation. This testing needs to be on a car with a bigger turbo.

    Re: Next week's testing

Not SEM but rather true datalogging tools that Eurocode has. The pump is going to be flow tested on the bench, then flow tested using our fuel line, then flow tested with the engine run to redline with multiple pulls.

The pump we will be using is a TRUE drop in and there is no additional basket or hardware needed.

And it also requires you to have APR software on the ECU, no worky with REVO or any other flashes

Really? I thought it pulled directly from the CAN-bus and is hard-coded to a particular ECU (profile file needed) since it calls certain locations on the ECU directly. Locations not specific to ECU software vendors (REVO, APR, etc..) but more specific to the Motronic system on that vehicle (ME 7, 7.5, 9.0, etc..).

I though it worked on other software too. Pretty sure the guy who custom tunes at SSP Tuning uses it. And I know Mark uses it on his S4s, I thought it was on all of them, but maybe not.

It wouldn't work on my stage 3 REVO file and i called APR and they told me it can only be used with APR software.

ECUX open specific high speed port that APR uses for comm, that's why it wont work with any other software, at least that's what Keith told me.

Maybe the B6 is different? I have seen ECUx logs from every tuner on a B5.

Spoke to Mark today. He's not willing to provide his data logging software to the public.

File switching on my ECU now works

Made a couple tweaks to my file (nothing major). Turns out that T25 leak was there when he was tuning my car (not big though, he went back and checked things to verify all was good). I'm now running 28-29psi of boost rather than 25psi on 93oct and the car solid between 300-305awhp on that file rather than the 280ish I published a few weeks ago.
