umm 15k, 20k....just depends how aggressive you get.

my original pads lasted 18k i believe...

I had my original pads for +45k miles before I replaced them with Hawlk HPS pads. They still had a good amount of pad left but the brake dust was annoying the crap out of me.

33K and still holding up.. They are on their way out soon, but I think that I have gotten such good results due to highway miles.. I only got the car in June of 07..Regarding squeaking, all the time @ <10 MPH..

ive got around 30k on the originals and they are squeaking alot at low speeds. should i replace them soon??

I'm at 25k on originals. They DO have sensors in them correct?

I had to replace mine at 28K along with all 4 rotors. I drive normally, but I bought my B7 with 11K so I'm not sure what happened before that. Ive been driving on slotted rotors and ceramic pads for about 6K and they havent worn at all.

I'm approaching 28k miles and just had mine checked at the dealership when I had my 25k service (which was done at like 27k) They said my pads had plenty of pad left..if that makes sense. So, I guess it depends how you drive. I'm fairly easy on my brakes.

Ive got 102,000 miles and mine are perfectly fine and ive had the car since day one..

my 05 still has the original front rotors and pads and it has 42K. I had to replace the rear rotors and pads first, the dealership said that since the car is more rear biased than a normal car the rears go first.

I have 21K on my car with many track events and I have glazed the pads several times. They still work really well.

I have about 60K and mine still have about half the pad left. Most of the car's life was spent in Italy where I would drive at high rates of speed up and down the mountains, but now that I am here in NC I coast whenever I can so I don't make so much brake dust. I am replacing my pads and rotors in a couple weeks because of that reason. I could probably make it on stock for 100K+. I believe wear sensors are standard on our cars.

My brakes squeak like crazy! i thought i was the only one but apparently i'm not which is comforting. They started squeaking ( <10mph ) at around 13k miles. when i took it in for my 15k service, they said warranty for brakes expires at 12k miles! they applied some lubricant. I pulled out of the dealership and the squeak was still there. When audi NA called for their survey, well i wasn't so nice

i have 34k on mine and the sensor just came on. the answer is yes, we have a sensor so change them when it comes on.

34k i think my sensors ripped off, and I replaced the pads/rotors at 36k....i barely had any pad left in the rear and esp in the front...

my front rotors and pads are low and i'm at 26k. the rears arent in bad condition but i want to upgrade to the ecs bigger rotors

I toasted front pads in 12k miles. But then again, I visited the race track 3-4 times :)
