So I was bored tonight so I went to wash and HAND POLISH my TT, tried my very very best to remove swirl.

Guess what? I will tell you what.

I SWARE I WILL NEVER WASTE MONEY ON HAND POLISHING STUFFS AND I WILL NEVER DO HAND POLISH FOREVER!!!

What was the problem? You couldn't get the results you wanted or was it just too much work?

Selmer, As you found out, your Audi has a very hard clear. It is difficult to remove defects via hand polishing on the softer clears.

after spending one an a half hour claying and polishing the hatch, swirls are still there,

yeah, like gmblack3 said, our car's clear coat is too stiff for hand polishing,

I know this because I hand polished my friend's Corolla and the result aren't bad!

There are a lot of people that have difficulty polishing Audi clear WITH a polisher, so I can see why you had less than stellar results by hand.

I'd say that a PC investment is in your future...

    Good luck.
