While it does look all right in the picture, I don't think the contrast will be so obvious when you actually make those pieces black. It'll probably be more of a subtle difference than anything. Maybe do black rings too, and the surroundings of the other lower grills?

Btw...I personally like the chrome mirror caps despite all the negative feedback you've been getting on them.

and on the topic of changing lines.. has anyone toyed with the idea of doing a boser type hood on a c5? if i can get good dimensions from someone where its not going to cut visibility then i will try it

it doesnt get pushed out at all..it simply gets basically built in eyelids is the best way i can explain it...grille stays in place
