So I got a super sweet molded USP front done in the summer and it took about 3 months to bottom out and crack that along the mold line (still unfixed). And then a few months back I finally got my molded Kershcer rear installed and this week I backed into a concrete block in a parking stall and cracked that up ! Looks like the car is going in for body work in January and I can kiss my xmas bonus bye bye

Maybe I should just get a pickup and quit

I will take some pics next week when I am on the dyno. Heres hoping that my AWE GT28r kit can pull out 220/220 at the wheel ! Bets ?

LOL my buddy has already threatened to call my body man to slip the backup beepers in to my repairs ! Might not be a bad idea I just hate messing the smooth lines of the molded rear.

seriously though if u look on ebay there are some sweet generic sensors that will work great and look smooth and factory.

i've been considering it but i just got my bumpers painted.

you shouldnt quit, I just think your not ready for lower front lip, and rear bumper.

you gotta be extra careful, or stick with stock A4 bumpers.

I dont know anything about your car but Im going to take a guess and say the outside is pretty close to stock. Ive trashed a CF splitter hitting a palm tree frawn in the middle of the highway and cracked my molded front from a piece of heavy ass metal wire in the middle of the road as well. Both were completely unavoidable, cars on both sides of me and with my splitter 4" off the ground, kinda hard to drive over the obstacles. Hitting a curb is one thing but the unavoidable stuff does happen, even more so with a modded car. Have some compassion, shit will happen to you one day as well and Im sure you will feel bad about it whether you could have prevented it or not

See, i have compassion... i feel terrible when i hear about the guy that hit the fridge on the Highway. Ripping a CF splitter must suck ass to, but if you were at walmart and slammed into some pots and broke it, then i'd probably make fun of you as well. Things beyond your control is one thing... things you neglect, bite you in the ass HaRd.

I am far from stock in and out. I have just been too lazy to post pics.

And no I didnt expect sympathy, just needed to vent about my stupidity and/or carelessness.

After this bill I will certainly take better care ... and maybe lift the car 1/2" for a little extra clearance.

I never understand why people like to mold their bumper. Yes it looks cleaner, but to me thats just another part to replace or repaint when you messed shit up. Good luck to the OP though.
