what i was gonna do is get a pencil, and draw in on the valence how i want the cutout to look. after some trial and error, id draw it exactly how i want it on a piece of cardboard, cut it out, and trace the cutouts onto the valence so they are symmetrical. then just get a dremmel and cut ur traced out lines. thats how i will do it when i do mine once it gets nice out again

Probably a good idea to score the plastic where you are going to cut.

i was thining it would be best todraw them out perfect then cut them out with a coping saw by hand..less dangerous and more precise..but keep the ideas coming and thanks for the input

Nah leave your chrome trim alone. I think making it black could look ugly and it will also look like you have the "saftey bumpers" on your car.

that would look hot too. any trim piece, change to black. around the windows, under the head lights, around the grill trim (would have to do upper and lower so it looked right) and the trim under the trunk

everyone goes black, to be honest i think it looks like shit, i think i will be the odd guy and keep it chrome, since black is the new thing! , anyways, you should have all just got a VW if you wanted black shit, my 2 cents......but on a silver car, it may look ok, on a dark colored car like mine, i think it looks horrid.

this is true, but de-chroming shit has been going on for a long time over seas. its a pure euro thing, relative in england told me about it long long time ago, before i was even really into cars.

i do agree, on certain colours, it wont look good, because it doesnt bring contrast, like on a dark colour. on light colours, it looks sweet imo

It will look hot but it's the trunk trim and the headlight trim that will look odd because it noticably breaks up the silver. Upper lower and window trim will look insane
