How to fix CC switch???

My cruise control switch has been working intermittently at best, I know this is a common problem, how do you fix it?

If a part is required please post best store options.

I have an APR chip, and every time i used the CC 3 or more times, i got a CEL. I never checked it, but it went away after 3 starts, so im guessing it was the CC. Since then i replaced it, also partly because I couldnt get the chip to come back on after i disconnected the battery. So $110 later i got a new one and problem solved.

Well its definitely the switch, cause it will turn on CC sometimes, and shut off if I put on the turn signal or bump it...

After reading your name on here, all I could think of is taking the Glock out and shooting the bastard lol!

My CC hasn't work since I bought the car.

I haven't bothered to fix it because driving on CC is like driving an automatic - no fun.

I use it on long highway trips, I tend to wander over 90 mph pretty quickly otherwise lol!

Couldn't agree with you more - CC is my anti-ticket device on the highway. Plus, I hate people who pass you and then slow down and then pass you again... Pick a damn speed! Anyway, here's a DIY from "that other site"; http://www.audiforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57846

Haha, that's me getting another ticket. All good with the S so far... knock on wood.
