iPod connection without navi?

Hey All!
I skipped the Navi/GPS-option on my A5 as I thought the price of 35,000 SEK (5800 USD at time of purschase) was hell to much..

anyhow, is it possible to connect iPod/iPhone to the A5-system without having the Navi/advanced MMI system?

If so, where to get and how to do?

I just bought an A5 too without the navi however I got it with the iPod connectivity which is located in your glove compartment. However, you need a special cable for the iPod which is sold separately which is approx $70 + tax. All you do is hook up the cable to the ipod/iphone and it should work after pressing the media tab.
