Pretty much the same as every other S&D pod I have ever sold, but what I consider to be a blemish might not be the same as you.

You can do a search and read what others have to say about that since the seller couldn't possibly be telling the truth.

i noticed in the other thread that said that in the pictures, the gauge is not at zero because they were test fit models.

will the "scratch and dent" gauge packages you send out have that issue? or will they correctly read zero?

does the package ($99) also come with the correct fittings, and tubings for an install?

All gauges that are sent out are individually checked to be at zero before shipment.

If the needle position changes due to the elevation you are at I have no control over that.

The gauge package offered for $99 will contain all the fittings and tubing. You will have to supply a short length of wire and a couple of crimps to complete the install as the manufacturer made the wiring harness too short.

Well, I just went ahead and ordered the package with the white dial. I have one small question. Do these come with installation instructions because this will be my first mod on my car that requires some form of disassembly greater than removing the headlight switch =P

Thank you very much for the link Rook. I'm seeing everyone order the red gauge version and I'm hoping I didn't make a mistake. I wanted it to match the factory speedo and tach. Those dials stay white when the lights go on, right? I haven't been out to the car all day, so I haven't checked it out. I'm such a bum

The only thing you need to wire up the gauge is a small length of wire and 2 butt connectors to extend the wiring harness as it came from the manufacturer too short. I'll have this issue addressed in the future.

I have never seen a pod come in any colour but black.

Due to the cost and the smaller market for a tan or platinum interior, unless I can sell close to 2000 of them (my minimum order quantity) then I can't afford to sit on the inventory.

Well...

You can get a VEI dual gauge and monitor your oil temperature and oil pressure, oil temp and EGT, battery voltage and water temp, etc..

Or you can get a pod and wait for one of my new oil temperature or oil pressure stepper motor gauges

Or you can get a pod and wait for the Valentine 1 remote display that is in development

a gauge is really only useful if you can benefit from what it tells you.

ie - you could get a washer fluid temperature gauge, but how would that information benefit you? how would it change how you drive your car, or tell you if something needs to be serviced?

Oh, i forgot to mention. i ordered my pod on friday, and it got here on monday. it's really amazing how quickly it got shipped. even though it's a scratch and dent, i didn't see any flaws with it. no scratches or marks.

I placed my order on Saturday and got my package in today. I am very impressed with the shipping time. I only found a scuff on the pod about 2mm X 1mm in size, one can early make a bigger scratch just by installing the damn thing. Over all I am vary happy with podi's service and quality.
