    Losing power steering fluid?

Has anyone else had this problem? Yesterday, my low oil light came on for the fourth time time in the 3 months since I bought it, so as i was checking the oil dipstick I decided to check out the power steering reservoir and it was just past the min mark.

This car has been nothing but problems for me since the day i bought it. I guess it's because it was a service loaner.

Any recomendations other than taking it to service and have them check it out. (Luckily for me I work at an Audi Dealership)

    Re: Losing power steering fluid?

I bought the car with 8k miles, it now has 12k. The last time I brought it to service was just under a month ago. Lately I noticed if I turn the steering wheel all the way in one direction, for example when making a 3 point turn, it becomes rather difficult to turn back. I haven't noticed any sort of physical leaks at all. And also, this is the first time I've checked it since I've bought the car.

I've had PS fluid come out during canyon runs / track events, but for it to leak during normal daily driving is a bit strange. Have you checked with dealership? Hope its still in warranty.

Yes, it's still under warranty. And I know the manager of the service dept where I work so chances are I won't get any of that BS and run-around that they always give people.

you said ur car wsa a service loaner before you bought it, there might of been a chance that the front had been damaged cuz my powersteering fluid would go low when id drive aggresive being pretty often, came to figure out that when i had my front bumped into, some clamps where changed on the powersteering hose that caused it to puncture a perfect tiny hole, get it checked
