    Re: rear speaker removal?

Well from doing this myself recently heres how it goes. There is a write up of this on audiworld as well- credits goes to them. I also wouldnt have figured it out.

    1. Disconnect the rear brake light in the trunk

    2. Remove the bottom cushion of the rear seat- it can be pulled up and removed.

    3. Put the rear seatback down

    4. Unclip the side bolsters on both sides of the car (the only part(s) of the seat that dont fold down next to the doors). These are a struggle, you can visually see the bottom clip however the top one you cannot. Push up and pull out or however which way it'll release for you. It may take a few tries. The bottom clip is somewhat pliable.

    5. Unclip the seatbelt mount covers.

    6. Simply lift up the rear deck to unclip it. Be careful not to damage the speakers while removing or re-installing as this process can rip the speaker cones.

As a side note if you're going to install new speakers, you'll have to re-wire the pre-amp thats bolted to the driver side speaker. Green is positive, black is negative.

3 bolts under the baby seat clips, pry the clips off and you'll see the bolts. then unclip the 3rd brake light and the rear shelf comes off. then its screws for the speakers
