m24 turbo...

Alright guys, heres something interesting...

I bought a 98 a4 1.8tqm with 137k on it, 2 weeks ago dirt cheap...$2,500. it came with a big turbo, test pipe, and full apr exhaust. the car is in really good condition now after doing a shit load of body work...i bought the car as a project car so i was prepared for alot of bumps in the road with it.

anyway...i got curious about the turbo and took out the air box to check it out and saw that is said "garrett m24" on it. i looked for some info on the m24 turbo and didnt find much. The turbo has been on the car for less then 20k miles. it spools and sounds really nice. i do not have an upgraded ecu or injectors in the car yet (the previous owner just slapped on a turbo and exhaust and thats about it)

Well what i would like to know is if anyone knows more about the m24 turbo and if i got an upgraded ecu and injectors would i need to get an ecu and injectors for lets say a t28 for example? or do i have to get something custom or just a regular giac or something?

if anyone can tell me something helpful that would be greatly appreciated. thanks everyone!

Alright nevermind...i think i answered my own question lol.

I searched t28 images and i found this pic and a bunch of other pics of a t28 that had M24 on it...so...yeah...i have a t28 turbo...heres a pic i found...its not of my turbo...sorry for wasting your time guys lol...still kinda new :)

lol...i just picked up a turbo from my neighbor that he wants to sell, and it says garrett M24 as well, it has a t25 flange and it said a/r .80. with a 5 bolt exhaust housing. i`ll post pics later or tomorrow. ITS FOR SALE!!! pm me with offers

It could be a gt2554r

it looks alot like this one, the only difference is that the inlet is like th eone of the pic posted above.
on the small plate the numbers are 466113-2
