    Allroad Front plate removal

I thought I'd post this because I always wanted to know, and I know I could never find the answer. Well, I went out on a limb and attempted it myself. Here's the result:

In order to remove the front plate cover to add your europlate, simply use a flathead screwdriver to wedge in the crack and gently, but firmly pry it forward. The cover is held in place by a series of electrician's putty and double-sided tape.

After prying with a screwdriver, you can gently pull the plate away:

Here's what's underneath. Those two brackets are held on with more double sided tape. You can use them or pull them off as well.

You can see the electrician's putty on the back of the plate cover.

I know I took a deep breath and went for it. Hopefully the next person can do it without the heart attack :)
