Nice article on proper dyno setup and how easy to manipulate the numbers, Well theres about half dozens other ways to fudge numbers but nice atricle. http://www.mainlineauto.com.au/produ...OWACCURATE.PDF another decent article, read towards the bottom were the article explains that the operator increased the hp numbers...http://www.pcwatlanta.com/Dyno.html I would agree use then strictly as a tuning tool and FORGET the numbers as it's to easy to manipulate..

    Re: Dyno info

Great find, I found alot of that information to be very informative. Out of curiosity do you know of anyone who has run on a DYNOmite dyno?

I used to work for a dyno company.. it makes me sick reading people on forums bicker about numbers and calibration.. its useless to argue the numbers. We used to calibrate each dyno before it left the factory, but it is easy to change via the software to read whatever you want.

Land-and-sea dynos are real popular for smaller vehicles / engine dynos. I dunno why their chassis dynos never took off like some of the others.

Yeah, my brother-in-law has one at his shop and he was really pumped when he got it. It's was just weird that I hadn't heard of any other AZ people running on them.

    Re: Dyno articles and info

    thats funny...
Mainline is actually where i took my S4 straight after the Stage 3 upgrade.
I only made 335 at wheel HP
this was prior ot a full exhaust being installed

    Good operators and dyno manufacturers
CURRENT - Audi 2002 S4 Nogaro Blue Pearl - Stage 3+ 335Hp atw (but something isnt right...)

    PREVIOUS - Audi 2001 S3 Silver - 230Hp atw
