RS4 Grille - Paint the plate holder???

I just changed to an RS4 grille, but my light grey plate holder looks out of place. Car is silver.

Any advice on painting it black?

Eddie Man had a post somewhere about 4 layers of Audi paint and 4 layers of clearcoat...but I haven't a clue where you get these items.

Any help/advice would be appreciated. I'll post a pic later so you can see the awkwardness of the colour contrast.

I think Eddie Man color matched his car.

If you just want black you can buy it from ECS Tuning.

At least that's what I did.

cool. wonder if they have a plate holder version?

I have a perfectly good one...$15 in paint might be a good investment. We'll see what comes up on here.

I painted the rear valence myself and it turned out great.
It's been several months now and its still perfect.
Check post #6 for my DIY.
I dont see why this wouldnt work for the filler.
