Digital Speedometer?

Does anyone know how make the speedometer show up on the display instead of showing the amount of miles before refueling? Manuel says it is possible but doesn't show how.

np if its the same as my B6 and my dads 08 a6 than at the end of your windshield aduster theres an up and a down, just scroll until you get to it... I dont mean the actual adjuster for the windshield wiper speed but at the very end of it(i dont even know what to call it haha) hope this helps a little just kkeep hittin stuff in that general area till you get it haha....

Actually here you go, hold the adjuster like you were gunna shift a GMC truck, and just press your thumb into the end of it and press up and down and thatll do it... good luck sorry if this was absolutley no help haha

when i scroll through there all i get is miles to go on the tank / mpg / timer for rest intervals...

it does my friend. i have done it. go into the car options, and go into computer 1 and 2, turn off everything except fuel range for computer 1. that will be the start of customizing the displays. you might want to grab a pen and paper, it gets confusing.

I think there's a "hidden" button on the wiper lever for cycling through date and onboard computer....
as shown in page 27 of owner's manual, press button B

No you don't need to turn anything off. On my A5 its not the buttons on the side of the windshield wipers but theres a flat button on the top side you click that to change it. That same button, if held, will reset the current information that you are viewing such as mpg.

yes, but on my a4, the fuel range was not turned on. i had to go and turn it on. and if you try to turn everything on, not everything will get displayed. i am aware of the button on the windshield wiper.

it's quite complicated but i got it to where i want it.

hold the button on the bottom of the right stalk. Thats how it works on my S5 so I assume its similar.

Hi all,

I have an audi A4 avant 1.8 TFSI (B8) basic model and I can't fint how to make the board computer to show the average consumption of the car. The only thing it shows on the dashboard is the range but I can't swith it to average consumption. Can you please help me ant give me a hint if this car can show the average consuption or not, and how?
I have not the side top button on the right lever (screen wiper) so I'm searching for other options.

I would also kindly ask if any of you can tell me where can I find/download a user's manual for this car in English or French. Mine is in Deutch.

Yes...same for A4...button on BOTTOM of stalk allows you to switch between the digital speedo and 2 trip computers (on Prem+/Prestige models).

I have seen AVG speed on mine, but have never come across an option for a live digital speedo. I'd love that.
