Can anyone tell me if I can run the factory length bolts with a 8mm spacer?

no. any length spacer you add you have to add that to the bolt lenght as well.

    Re: H&R spacers

    ^ Close. OEM is 28mm, so 36mm.

*Always add the same number of the spacer to the bolt. It's better to be too long than too short. (I'm sure there's a double entendre in there somewhere)

I think I'm gonna go 12F/15R on my OEM split 5s for a while for a new look.

Not if you don't want your wheels to fall off :)

As a rule of thumb, if your spacer is 8mm, you'll have to add 8mm to the length of your current bolts assuming the wheel stays the same.

spacers are not in inches, in millimeters since offset is measured in millimeters.
go to ecstuning.com and get either 2 or 3 mm spacers

1 Inch is 25.4mm. So he'd look for 25mm spacers.

But I've never heard of people putting 1 inch spacers on.
