has anyone installed this? I'm curious to know the set up after it's installed, ie. where the ipod cable comes out if the unit is installed behind the radio.

    thanks

    Re: DICE ipod integration kit

Yeah I did mine....I ran the ipod wire which isnt very long straight towards the ebrake handle and then had it come thru that compartment under the armrest on the B6. I dont think you have that....it would be behind your cupholder??? Or you could run it accross into the glove box like many do.

Set-up...mine gave me some grief so I recommend leaving the radio partially out and try it so you can set up the switch on the unit the way you'd like.

Dont forget the ground wire which I attached to the radio itself on one of the small screws on the top.

And...after all was done...it doesnt work exactly the way I'd like.....going thru playlists and artists sucks!!! I just leave my ipod on shuffle and just go thru the songs manually.

I did mine in 15 minutes. I ran mine to the top shelf in the glove box and leave it on shuffle. It plugs into your CD changer on the back of the radio. It will only fit one plug, so it's easy to figure it out, run the cable to the glove box, push the radio back in.

I'm planning on setting mine up here in a few weeks. Heard if you hook it up through the SAT in the back, no taking out the radio, easy as pie. Ill post some pictures.
