Best way to get goopy coolant/oil mix out of system?

My entire coolant system is filled with this goopy crap. I fixed the problem that was causing it (oil cooler), but I can't put it all together until I clean out the lines. I thought that I would be able to just shoot it all out with the hose but it's a lot thicker than I had expected and holding a hose onto one of the coolant lines to push it out doesn't do much.

Somebody told me I could get something that attaches to my coolant reservoir and will pressurize it all out, but I don't know if that will be strong enough still.

What would a shop charge to clean out the system?

Would the part that attaches to my reservoir be a good way to go?

Is my best bet just tearing it all apart and cleaning each section by itself (lack of time is forcing this to be my last resort).

I would fill her up with water run her till she’s hot then flush her being very careful not to scold your self as the heat will make flushing her a lot easier oh and do it a few times.

You could use some degreaer that is dilluted. The bottle will tell you how much to dillute it for your application. Do a regular coolant flush and run the dilluted degreaser a few times through. Then flush it clean with water. But if anything goes awry, I am not held liable .

You might have to take out your Tstat so you be sure to get it all out.

Yeah I noticed when I did my timing belt so much more coolant came out when I got up to the water pump and thermostat part than when I just drained it from my radiator. I took two whole gallons after that but when I do a regular flush from just the plug on the bottom of the radiator only a little more than a gallon comes out.

1 Pull the thermostat, 2 go to napa and get some radiator flush, 3 run the car for a bit, 4 let it get nice and warm, 5 drain old shit out, 6 fill with water and put t-stat back in, 7 let it warm up to operating temp, drain water, 8 if it was clear fill with g12 mix if not fluch till it is

Aww man, it sucks that I have to run the nasty stuff through my brand new oil cooler... oh well, that sounds like a plan.

Thanks for the help, I'll post back here if anything goes wrong.
