    Slow 3.2 TT?

Hello everyone, new here. Just bought an 09 TT 3.2...and I think its kind of slow. I know theres a REVO chip, Neuspeed intake out there. Anything else, camshafts, a mildly priced forced induction kit?

    Appreciate any help.

    Re: Slow 3.2 TT?

Define "I think it's kind of slow".

HPA make a nice kit for the 3.2, but a well-driven 3.2 TT will mangle most comparable sport GTs with no difficulties. A modded 3.2 (w/ HPA for example) will make any similar power/weight ratio machine blanche. It has all the qualities of a modded 911/99x, w/o the happy tail syndrome.

Again: define the problem in real-world terms so we can understand your paradigm.

BTW- mildly priced forced induction kits are the stuff of dreams. You just spent a buttload of money on a fabulous car. If you expect more than 50HP and similar torque, you better haul out your 401K.

And that's why i chose the 2.0t. i test drove them back to back and the 2.0t just seem to pull better. then with software, exhaust and true cai. the car is much better than any normally asperated car in its class.

If you wanted a faster car why didn't you buy one? You sound like a child.

Really great discourse there 09: great edumakation shows! But this is only tufflove. Welcome to the TT reality show!

I've driven a well built 3.2 making more power than I could need. It had 11" rears, goodness knows what fronts, and was a hoot to make go fast. The power just came on forever. Like riding a shuttle, or an F-4.

Best part: it felt WAY better than any 3.2 Porsche motor I've driven in a 911/99x.

Can you share some specs please!

My A4 is currently in the process of being parted, working on a finialized list now for a TT. Hoping to have it completed by late Feb or March in time for the summer show season. Swapping in a 24v VR6, most likely going to put a Precision PT67 on it, possibly a PT71, unsure if I ever want the car to see 700awhp. The 67 is plenty to get it into the 600's with some C16, around 475-500awhp on pump gas. Going to look at one white/blk TT local, if it doesnt work out or isnt the condition it supposedly is, this one is next on the list Clicky

Here's my A4 now, was also in the December issue of Eurotuner if you saw the issue

This is my main tech's R32, we know a thing or two about the VR if your doubting its power capabilities. In its state in this pic, did just over 700awhp with a PT74 and runs 10.7 @ 134 with full interior and street tires

Its a horribly excuse for a boosted 3.2l motor and doesnt make shit for power. Is that a better explanation of a SC'd 3.2?

    NICE!
Saw your car: nice to make a connection.

TT has an HPA kit, owner is Bob Smith out of PA, and a close friend in the TT Forums at AW. Engineering genius: he designs car stuff in addition to the TT and his 914-6.

Not clear on the definitive specs: it is the all-up HPA, so I suspect we were carrying 400+ HP around the four corners. P-car rims on adapters, monstrous BBK (may be a p-car kit IIRC). It owuld make 0-60 in about 4s according to our G-meter, and the grin on my face was PERMANENT!

Bob has custom designed a lot of stuff for the car, remodeled the interior using TTR hoops and some neat stowage where a backseat used to be.

Love the understatement of your car's exterior. Well done!

Technical justification for this pontification, oh wise one? And keep your kinky sexlife to yourself!
