Custom RS4 Grill

Seen this done before on here and found someone that was selling a stock a4 grill for cheap so i decided to buy it and give it a try. If i screwed it up I had another grill so it was no big deal. I'm very happy with how it turned out and it only cost me a total of $45 to make. I bought the expandible mesh at home depot then cut out all the horizontal bars in the grill leaving the rings, sanded it all smooth, then cut the mesh to fit, glued it in, and painted everything satin black. Thought I'd share this with you as an alternative to spending around $200 dollars for the grill since the price more than doubled on them not too long ago. Here are the results, sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, didn't have the camera with me.

i made one too...looks pretty much the same except for the black surround

I gotta get on this, seems like everyone that makes a custom one comes out with a great result.

Although, i'm kinda split between this grille below (in the B5 offering) and making my own...

I've never been a fan of the Audi Grill's in general. Including the A4 B5/RS4 etc.

wow when i had a b5 i think my rs4 grill was $60??
i do have a stock b5 grill at home if anyone wants to buy it to make their own

wow, back in the day I bought my RS4 grille from Audi at the dealership for like $79 or something like that, I just noticed they are going for over $200 in ebay, WTF!!!! I should have bought like 100 of them and resold them now!
