Going to be fast sooner than expected

So, the problem is not the clutch slave cylinder, as thought.
    Most likely it's a disintegrated throw-out bearing.
Cost to replace the clutch via dropping the transmission is not much more than dropping the engine. Might as well drop the motor and do the turbos & such at the same time, vs. having to pay labor on that essentially twice.

*sigh* This was not in the cards yet. Wish that TOB would have held out a couple more months.

i think i may have missed your thread. what happened with your tranny? i remember my buddy busted my slave cylinder when he put my motor back in, and it was leaking fluid. he was pissed since its really a big bitch to get to, and the part is made out of plastic lol.

im having a bit of an issue aswell after i got a new tranny, whats yours doing?

well, my pedal was on the floor essentially, and the car wouldn't go into gear. The slave cylinder was leaking, so they replaced it. When Rob depressed the clutch pedal, it blew up the new slave.
So, he got another one and installed it, and tried to depress the clutch pedal with his hand (less pressure), and it wouldn't move.
So, best guess is the throw-out bearing came apart in there, but the only way to tell for sure is to take the tranny down.

ahh that sucks. yea mine you can feel pressure normally when u press down clutch and let go. car goes in and out of gear fine. need to press clutch to start car still. when you put it into gear and let go of clutch it doesnt grab. in gear with the car off, its not in gear and can roll. buddy thinks it may be pressure plate related. also wont be able to tell without dropped tranny lol

    good luck with yours

    and the same to you.
Ran the numbers, don't think the turbos are happening right now, so probably just do the clutch.
