    alright, so i have a 99 a4 2.8 quat and its got the phone jack in the armrest. How exactly does the system work, and what kind of kit or whatever do i need to adapt my phone to it?

    i think there was an Audi Phone option for the car, but i have never seen it. You can use the DB25 serial port looking plug in the trunk near where the cd changer goes to hook up a hands free kit to your car. There are two writeups on AudiWorld about a guy using that plug to hardwire a kit into his car.
