Ok, have a Sirius One receiver. I am tired of dealing with a multi outlet 12V power source (3), which charge the phone, Ipod, and run the Sirius. Alsor, I am sick of seeing all the "spaghetti" from the Sirius (power, antenna, and cassette adapter.)

I was thinking that I splice the 12V power source from the Sirius into a Buss Accessory tap, that goes into the fuse box. The one I have can "piggyback" into another fuse, but since Audi is so gracious to give us some blank bays, I would pop it in there, and run a 10A fuse. Of course, it would be grounded into the bolts that mount the block to the dash.

Given the fact that German electrical is at times, temperamental, is this a good thing? A prompt reply is requested, since I am eager to attack this.

Tap the 75x terminal behind the knee bolster for your power. The 75X terminal is a switched power source meaning that whatever is connected to it will turn on and off with the ignition, just like your stereo. For grounding use the grounding nut near the drivers kick panel just behind the hood release lever. I have my V1 and XM receiver both hooked up like this. Works great.
