Re: Indianapolis gtg lunch/trip to IMS museum

Hey guys, new to the site and this page. I actually live a few blocks from the guy in Broad Ripple with the avant "old man" plate. Spoke to him once and he seemed like a nice guy. This is great to find out that there are people local who are really into audis.

Sad day for me, my lease is ending today for my 07 a4 and heading to Tom Wood in an hour to turn it in. I am looking for another audi but have not made up my mind yet. Hope to catch up with you on a future outing?

Re: Indianapolis gtg lunch/trip to IMS museum

man that sucks. yeah mark is the old man, he is colt something on here. if you are getting back into another audi or vw you should stop by epwerks sometime. Or just stop by cause it seems like you like audi's.

Your a4 wouldnt happen to be an avant with s4 wheels? Mark was talking about his neighbor with one that talked to him before. If you are gettin another audi, we can def help! Give me a price range and an idea of what you want.

Were you in the Cadillac? If so it was nice meeting you. Adam watch those sarcastic smiley faces or Im going to call your mom and tell her you aren't studying but rather harassing nice individuals online.

Re: Indianapolis gtg lunch/trip to IMS museum

Yes, that was me driving the Cadillac. I actually traded in a 07 a4 that I leased for 2 years. I really want a wagon, and have been focusing on allroads (04 or 05).

Once I do, I plan to chip it and do some minor mods since I will actually own this car. I am not going to buy anything for a few months but keep me in mind if you know of any a4/a6 avants or allroads.

Nice meeting you guys and I will definitely plan on coming to a future event at the shop.

    This is for nobody directly:

Some of us are busy and get plans changed at the last minute. Sorry if you hate me because I say I will come to a gtg and then not make it. This is my life right now. I am on-call 6 days a week 10 hours a day. When the client says jump, I have to say how high? Also, I am relocated to the Dayton area so getting to Indy for events can be a little difficult. I would love to meet up with you all and have some fun. Let's try to get something together soon, like when there is snow on the ground!!! Later taters!

Re: Indianapolis gtg lunch/trip to IMS museum

totally off topic, but this seems like the only Indy thread up right now, so here goes...

does anyone local have a CAN vagcom? i just need to aim my headlamps since the local dealer is incompetent...4 tries and they still aren't even close. i know Ian has one at epwerks, but i'd like to find one i can use at night to aim clearly.

you would probably have more luck asking in the indianapolis thread on vwvortex that is where the majority of the indianapolis people chat

    here's a link
    http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothrea...38243&page=225

also have i met you? i work over a ep, so just trying to put a face with the account

Re: Indianapolis gtg lunch/trip to IMS museum

hmmm, you probably know me...i have the BR B7 A4 dumped on bbs with porsche stage 4 brakes...i've had it by epwerks a few times...but i've had my 337 way longer, so you may know me by that...who are you?

yeah, i've been on vortex for years...actually spend most of my time there but the b7 a4 forum there sucks so i finally sucked it up and regestered here.

and i know most of the local crew on there, so i didn't bother; everyone local i know only has the non-CAN version...was hoping for some new blood here. :(
