ugh! i dropped my $500 i didnt want to spend on a set... cant wait to get them on so i can put on my rs4 rims and not go through a set of tires in six months!

the question is, is there anyone smart enough to install and adjust these in the lovely midsouth?

yeah,people around here act like its a spaceship.. i think i might try to DIY on the install and hopefully the audi dealer can do the alignment

I know you were asking the capt, but I have the answer. Going straight you will have more contact patch but on turners and bending those corners, a little negative camber actually giver you better handling. I'll look for a picture to illustrate

You see how when it hits the turn, the wheels stands straigh up not with just about full contact with the pavement. If you have 0 camber and you hit the turn, your outside wheel will have slightly positive camber now. Hope that makes sense

i know it will handle better because im actually going to put on a semi decent set of tires instead of these crappy hard ass nitto neogens.. of course it is winter now so it wont really be warm enough for summer perforamance tires but we will get some warm days in memphis hopefully!

Disclaimer: I'm posing this purely so no one reads you comment and thinks great tires and 0 camber is better than negative camber and great tires.

The power of camber is huge. You may not notice a difference if you upgrade your tires and go to 0 camber. You might still be better off with slightly above average tires and some negative camber. There isn;t a road race car in the world, well a good one, that doesn't run negative camber no matter how good their tires are.

p.s. - neogens are GOOD tires... if you don't like those but want something with similar characteristics, give the GY eagle GT's a shot. damn good tire, damn good price

i had bfgoodrich gforce sports which arent much money but my car handled like a damn gokart! the neogens are much harder and wear better but the first 2k miles was like driving an old caddy! its better now but still not nearly up to par from the gforces.

i just scored a set of OEM rs4 rims off a 08 s4. the car has 3k miles so the tires are nearly new. if they are in perfect shape as the seller describes im going to pick them up. they hav some kind of continentals on them.... hopefully they handle better than the neogens

what is it? 10 hours from memphis? = $100 in gas.. install will probably cost more than that...

Hmmm, almost tempting for a weekend trip... ive never road in a bt/bat car and mechanics around here suck so bad i even had to risk DIYing the clutch instead of trusting it to one of these morons!
