your local Audi Dealer. That is as far as I know the only place that sells the ones we need for our cars

I believe ECStuning has some also, but I can't remember the price. They are probably cheaper than the dealers though.

I just need the blades. Consumer reports did a comparison and most of the best ones were $12.

I've had great results with Bosch Icons. Used them on my MkIV Jettas and now I'm about to try them on my A4. If there's ever been a place to put wiper blades through the ringer, it's here in Montreal! They work.

I believe the connections are different. I put Bosch Icons on my b5 and they're awesome, but I think the B7 blades need to be purchased at the dealer

Its true you have to get them from the dealer or internet NOT AdvancedAuto\Autozone They dont have them and the dealer is somthing like $35 to $45 a blade......

The Valeo Ultimate wipers can be purchased for $24 a piece online (Part #'s 900-22-5B for left, 900-23-5B for right), or the Bosch set for $35 (part # 3 397 118 933 includes both left and right). I found Bosch set at www.autobarn.net

Ordered my BOSCH from AutoZone and they went on fine! The end cap is differant but go on as if they were OEM. The only thing that sucked was the price $80pr

agreed. I live in western mass "in the valley", and I will go on record saying these wipers are in-fact border-line unsafe in icy conditions and freezing rain which comes through here about once a week for 4 months. probably picking up some valeos..

How long are wiper blades supposed to last in normal conditions? I have 13k on my car and my wipers are a little streaky, but I dont want to spend $100 on new wipers.

Stock wipers are the Bosch blades, correct? It was real hard to see during my snowboard trip last weekend... I was going to order the Bosch blades through ECS, but I will hold off until someone can confirm the Valeo's are in fact better.

I'm not sure if they're actually manufactured by bosch, but they're the same style as the bosch icon. They generally only start to streak if they're dirty. If you take a damp paper towel and wipe them down from time to time, they'll treat you better in bad weather.

One more question... Those Valeo's on Amazon, are they sold as a set or do you have to buy a 23" and a 22"? Ha, I think this is the first time I've bought wipers for my car and I'm a little confused as to what's going on...

I just ordered the valeos off of amazon....39 shipped...not bad...I'll let you guys know how they turn out next week. You had to select them separately. 23' and 22'...

Only at the dealership. ECS's do not fit our cars. Audi makes them now at the factory, they are not Bosch anymore.

My dealer told me that Audi owns the clip design on these things - dealer only - mine charges $25 per blade. I can tell you that if you check the part books at the auto supply stores, you won't find an entry for our cars. There is no other design that "technically" fits besides those that are available at your dealer.

I would stick with the OEM parts - after all, if your wiper blade clip or assembly decides to come apart on you while driving in bad weather, I would like to be able to point the finger at Audi, rather than have Audi point the finger at me for being stupid and trying to save $10.

I got them yesterday...I installed them today in 5 min. Perfect fit. Interesting enough both my wipers were 22'. I put the 23' one on the driverside and the 22' on my passenger side. They slide accross with no noise whatsoever. I'm a happy camper. ...get your wipers while they last!

Haha, I mean't to revive this thread this morning since I put mine on yesterday too. I got the Valeo's as well and the fit was perfect, so don't listen to the people who say only Audi wipers will work... I also looked at both of the stock wipers and they were 22".

Yeah, I bought a 23" and 22". I followed the link and clicked the... "users who bought this item also bought this" link. That gave me both the 23" and 22" in my cart and I checked out. I put the 23" on the drivers side and it works fine.

You don't need to buy 23" and 22", you could just buy two 22". Amazon recommended a 23" and 22" and that's what I saw on here... So I bought the two different ones. Just had the chance to use them in the snow/ice the past two days and I have to say they work a hell of a lot better than the stock wipers. However, I did notice that the top corner of the passenger side wasn't getting all of the salt off. It was leaving about two to three inches like there wasn't enough pressure to wipe it off.

Btw, looking at the descriptions for what fits the car:
For the 2.0, the 22" is for both the left & right.
For the 1.8, it's 23" for the right and 22" for the left.
