Brake light and ABS lights are on!

Sweet, first snow and no abs. Brake fluid is all good, fyi.

My brake light is always on and the abs blinks at me....sound like a modulator? Heard they are expensive. Did the front cv joints and harness looks fine and is intact....

Sound familiar....???

probably the control module. www.modulemasters.com <-- $250, send it in, get it back rebuilt with a cool little smiley face sticker on it.

+1 do it. i did it. works great now. no problems. highly recommend modulemaster. i think i got it back in a couple days, the turnaround is great.

I will have to check this (should have a while ago)...with my 100 Vag wanna be...

If it's your module, your vagcom wont be able to communicate with the car (it will say 'could not connect' or something like that). Then if you unplug the control module, the vagcom should be able to communicate.

if you can find a rebuild....rebulid it....the new one cost you $800....I had exactly the same problem on my car before....

Before you send your module in vagcom it and see if its a specific wheel. Then check that wheel speed sensor and clean it. This is what happened to me, right rear.
