Like the title says I am looking at a set of coilovers for a B7 2.0T Quattro. I know the B6s and B7s have the same suspension but I just want to double check they will work on my B6 3.0 Quattro.

I could be wrong, But I'm going to assume the 3.0 engine is heavier than the 2.0 engine, therefore it might not sit right....

someone with more knowledge can chime in. :)

That is my thought as well but with them being coilovers and not just springs I should be able to adjust the settings. Am I right or way off base here?

Depends on the brand, check part numbers on the website...since some companies have general model applications (all B6 A4, all A3 etc), mostly in europe though where they work for 1.9TDI, 2.0, V6's etc all with the same set of coils

I tried to check part numbers but I couldn't find any online company who is selling H&R Coilovers and has the part numbers listed.

According to this, Street Performance Coil over Kit for example works for all 8E (inkl facelift wich is B7 since they are the same body) for 4 cylinder engines...however 2wd for some reason. I could imagine 4wd is same concept though!
