    Question Pros and cons of performance chip with/without exhaust upgrade

    RS4 owner. Have heard that exhaust upgrade will add about 25hp and not affect torque. So if it's torque that is desired, why not chip only.. You can tell I know little or nothinhg about what I am talking about.Please be kind!!!

    Most people do exhaust more for the sound, rather then for the performance gains.

    since this is sort of on topic ill throw in another Q.

    After seeing the post on how to pin the vacuum line to keep some valve that normally opens at 3k RPM open all the time will give more sound but loose bottom end torque...

    Do aftermarket exhausts have the hookup for that vacuum line?
