    Smacked a Curb..

So, driving home in a snowstorm tonight and hit a patch of ice in a turn and hit a curb with the right front tire at 10 - 15mph.

Car still turns and drives fine and no shimmy (at least up to 45mph) - rim is okay (lots of rash on it) and no flat tire. However, the brake pedal is very difficult to depress. Any ideas what would cause that? If I take the car out of gear (it's a manual) I am able to push it forwards and backward easily so it doesn't appear that the brakes are binding but can't be 100% sure..

    Thanks in advance.

Yeah, car is going in and Thursday and I won't be driving it until then - just hoping it doesn't end up costing too much. Merry Christmas to me I guess!

Okay, turns out I didn't do any damage to the wheel or suspension other then knocking the alignment out a little (and the above-mentioned wheel rash).

However, I did manage to knock the brake booster hose completely off which explains why the brakes were so hard to depress.

Could have been a hell of a lot worse...
