Got a link? I may be interested...there's always taking a risk and going for in-motion tuning as well. Can't justify the $500 price tag for a small amount of power increase from the bigger companies.

A chip for a stock car at $500 is the most bang for the buck mod you can get for a B6 a4.

I still agree with Greg. You can get $1000 exhaust for 5-8whp or an intake for up $400 that adds 0whp. A FMIC is a legit uprade for about 1k but it's definitely not worth it without the increased boost of a chip. A chip should always be the starting point for an Audi unless you have warranty issues.

^^ I hear ya. All I'm saying is that IMO $500.00 is alot for a chip upgrade. B/C of my opinion, I would rather save $500 instead of dishing out for 40 hp. However, if there was a cheaper alternative, say $250-$300, I would be more inclined to get it.

The other way to look at is if you plan on going BT one day Revo is a popular choice, and if you get the software out of the way now you only have to pay $50 to upgrade files instead of $600 or whatever the Revo BT file is new.

Tony@EPL has some solid tunes. I was chatting with him this past Saturday about it. Big with the B5 S4 and the Porsches and select VWs.

Did not realize he had a flash for the B6 A4. That is news to me.

porkchop epl posts alot on audiworld
the chip goes for 450 and its 299 on sale so thats a pretty good deal but their website sucks so im not sure if you need anything else with this like injectors and im not sure if they offer any other stages like 1+ or 2
im also in college and im not looking to go bt im just looking for a little more hp

Hey they just emailed me back.

$299 for a stage 1 tune. They didn't give me any other details. So I'm guessing the power is comparable to the either stage 1 tunes.

I might hop on this + get a testpipe at the same time.
