Starter ???

Ok, So my starter is bad and I need to replace it. Doe's anyone know how much I should expect to pay for a starter and a shop to replace it? I was quoted $830 total ($360 for remanufactured starter) for this shop I took it too but that seems really high. I found a few online for $200 or lower with a core deposit. Anybody have any info for me

I don't know about the labor, but 034 can get you a starter for under $200. Their price seems high all around. I would get the starter online and find a cheaper shop.

My brother had it towed to the shop and had it fixed while I wasn't home. X-mas came early, my bro picked up the tab! Thanks for the info man. If i didn't live in a condo i would do more work on my car myself but F-in Homeowners association
