Friend is looking to get a B7 A4

He's interested in getting an A4 S-line 6-speed in black or gray but it seems to be very hard to find.

Some questions I have to you guys:
-What are something to look for in an A4 when buying used, either from a dealer or private? Basically what are the know issue on the b7 a4.
-Are all a4 equipped with leather seats or is there leatherette in non-sline models?
-What are the main difference between an 05.5 and an 08?

sorry if these questions have been ask before. if there are any buying guide to an a4 that would be great.

Im not too familiar with the b7 a4 so any input would be appreciated.

There are two stickies at the top of the B7 A4 page. One is labeled, "Common B7 A4 Problems/Issues & Solutions"

I'm 99% positive that all B7's in the U.S. come with leather. In Europe you can get cloth.
