    Braille Lightweight Battery

    I was just wondering if anyone has one of these lightweight battery installed. I was thinking about buying on but I have subs and I am not sure what mount kit to buy with it. I anyone can assist me that would be nice.

    Why are you interested in getting a lightweight battery if you have subs? It seems counter intuitive. :)

    I got the idea that these batteries were stronger even though they are smaller. This is just a daily drive car.

    stick with factory sized battery. Capacity is much smaller of these small batteries.

    optima red top is a lot lighter and has good cranking amps.

    A 10 inch Group 47 regular flooded battery from a MkIV is a great comprimise and value. It is bolt in B6 and bolt in in B5 with proper hold down. Some b5 with 12 inch batt have wrong hold down. After push/jump starting dozens of race cars with miniature batteries I'm not a fan. I'm not sure why but I've had nothing but trouble with Optima's and you couldn't gift me 10 of them

    I've been staying away from Optimas lately. If you're looking for a good dry cell check out the Odyssey lineup.
