Picked up my R8...

hi guys,

Im new to the board. I thought I'd post some pictures of my new R8.







It has 20" Klassen wheels, Milltek exhaust, Singh Autosport tuning and the intake should be here in a couple of weeks.

Let me know if you guys hear of any Bay Area meetings.

Wow, quite nice. Did you buy it like that or do the mods yourself? And I've never heard of Singh. Is it in the Bay Area or SoCal?

yeah singh autosport is in the bay area... they do custom ecu-tunes on some high-end cars

We've not heard of an intake for the R8 yet (aside from PPI). Which brand are you looking at?

I'm with Kevin. The HRE version will be MUCH better. We're not a big fan of the magnesium Dymag centers.

Awesome and congrats. Hope you are excited. Forgive me if this is too personal, but any chance you work(ed) for MF Global? One of my trading partners told me about his father's associate recently picking up the new R8 in Bay area. Both are retired Asia market trade desk managers. Perhaps just a coincidence.

I have nearly the same combo as you. Black with silver sideblade. Manual as well, and I do NOT agree with the comment that it is a pain. Regarding the wheels, I still much prefer the original.
